Angela "Angie" Chardon Went Missing in the 1970s in Bronx, NY.

Angela “Angie” Chardon is an unreported missing person who was last seen sometime in the early-to-mid 1970s when she was in her twenties. She is an only child who was in frequent contact with her mother up until her disappearance. At the time of Chardon’s disappearance, she was a college student and was staying with her friend in Bronx, New York City, New York. Her family member states that she was also employed, but her last place of employment is unknown. She is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, and she did not know much English when she arrived to New York. Her aunt, Emelina Ramirez (now deceased), was living in Bronx in the 1970s. She went looking for Chardon, but her search was fruitless. Chardon’s parents did not have the resources needed to search for her in the 1970s. It is believed she was never officially reported missing, but one of her relatives is hoping to change that soon, as they are searching for answers to her whereabouts and hoping to utilize modern technology in the process.

Chardon’s exact age, date of birth, and date in which she vanished are currently undetermined. Her family member is traveling to Puerto Rico soon to try to piece together more information. In the meantime, I wanted to add whatever information I do have to this website promptly, in case clues could emerge. Her roommate’s name, last address, and college in which she attended are all undetermined as well. There are no online awareness articles on her disappearance at the time of this article; this is the first one.

Because Chardon was from Puerto Rico and had not been living in New York for very long before she vanished, there is a chance that she did not leave behind much of a paper trail and that her residence may not have been registered with the post office.

Chardon can be described as a Hispanic / Latino female with black or dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was of average height, around 5’4″ to 5’6″.
