Felicia Vasques-Carmickel is a missing woman whose last known whereabouts is Palmyra, Camden County, New Jersey on May 25, 2014.
In 2022, I was informed of Felicia’s disappearance by her friend who met her in Kensington, Philadelphia. That same year, I added her case to my NJ missing persons map, where I highlight NJ’s missing cold cases on an interactive map. I also published a story on Felicia’s disappearance today on South Jersey Beacon (SJ Beacon).
Felicia’s friend recalls last seeing her in Philadelphia in about 2014, while Felicia was transient in the area. She states that she first met her when she was 16 years old and homeless. Felicia was a member of Prevention Point in Kensington, where people exchange needles. Felicia has also resided in Cherry Hill and Palmyra, both in NJ.
Felicia is a African American / Black female who has a petite frame, black hair, brown eyes, and possibly a lip piercing.
Upon doing research into Felicia’s case, I learned that she was active on social media until her disappearance. Her online handle was “wockaflockaa” for Instagram, Roblox, and Twitter.
I hope to bring a highlight to this underrepresented case in hopes of bringing answers to her family and friends, who are all seeking answers in her disappearance.
I have been running a special project for missing women connected to the local area for many years.
