A New Mexico family is searching for answers after 36-year-old Cody Kyle Helm was reported missing under concerning circumstances. Cody was last seen on May 25, 2026, in Clovis, New Mexico, and his loved ones remain deeply concerned for his safety and well-being.

According to information provided to Underground Mysteries, Cody is considered a vulnerable missing adult who may be endangered and in need of medical care. Family members report that he has a disability and may require ongoing treatment and medication, raising concerns about his ability to safely care for himself while missing.

Cody was born on September 26, 1989, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is described as a Caucasian / White male standing approximately 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall and weighing about 135 pounds. He has hazel eyes, auburn hair, and a wavy hairstyle that was above his ears when he was last seen. He also reportedly has tattoos on his arms and neck.

Investigators and family members believe Cody may have been driving an older white Ford pickup truck, believed to be from the late 1990s or early 2000s. The vehicle was reported to have a broken rear window.

Cody was living with a family member at the time of his disappearance. According to information submitted to Underground Mysteries, he did not have a cellular phone with him when he went missing. Family members say they are extremely worried and are hoping someone may have seen him, his vehicle, or may know where he is currently located.

The case has already been reported to law enforcement and is being handled by the Clovis Police Department and the New Mexico State Police.
