Goldsboro, NC – Gloria Denise Barden is a 33-year-old mother of three who has been missing for more than six years. Her family is pleading with the public for help on any information that may lead to her whereabouts.
Born in September of 1991, Gloria grew up in Goldsboro, NC and attended Eastern Wayne High School. She later lived in Raleigh, NC. She has also spent time in West Virginia and Georgia, often moving between states.
Although Gloria’s family has not seen or heard from her since about 2017 or 2018, court records confirm that Gloria was last documented in 2019, when she was served legal papers in her personal vehicle. In 2024, her vehicle title was transferred, raising questions about whether she could still be alive and under the radar.
Several friends recall her staying in Lincoln Homes in Goldsboro, NC and attending church with neighbors. One former friend remembers she was suddenly unable to be reached. Another friend stated that Gloria would talk about having to meet a man in Wayne County, NC but then would go back to GA. One friend stated that Gloria lived with her in about 2018 or 2019 in Goldsboro, NC and that she left her key in the door and never returned to the residence.
The family says that they tried filing a missing person’s report but that it was not accepted.
Gloria can be described as an African American female who is about 5’0″ in height with brown eyes and black hair. She hay have a nose ring and an unspecified tattoo on her arm.

The family hopes that by spreading Gloria’s story, someone will come forward with the missing piece that leads to her return.
