Stanley Patrick Went Missing in 1997 From Atlanta, GA, And His Case Has Remained a Mystery.

Underground Mysteries is dedicated to bringing attention to underrepresented missing persons cases, especially those that have not received media coverage or online visibility. Today, we are shedding light on the disappearance of Stanley Eugene Patrick, a young man whose case has never had a news highlight, until this publication.

Stanley Eugene Patrick vanished on November 1, 1997, at the age of 20. If alive today, Stanley would be 48 years old. He was last seen in Atlanta, Georgia (Fulton County). According to reports, Stanley had departed from his residence in Atlanta and was en route to a family member’s home in East Point, Georgia. Unfortunately, he never made it to his destination, and he has remained missing ever since.

At the time of his disappearance, Stanley was described as a Black/African American male who stood at about 6 feet tall and weighed approximately 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey with the number 21, blue denim jeans, and black and white tennis shoes.

Stanley is listed in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under case number MP143542. Despite being in the governmental database for missing people, his case has never received any notable coverage. Underground Mystery’s goal is to change that and to spread his story on social media, in hopes that someone may come forth with clues. Every missing person deserves visibility, dignity, and a chance to be found.

While conducting archival research, Underground Mysteries located and verified an old yearbook photo of Stanley from his freshman year at Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. That photo, taken in 1994, is now attached to this article as a step toward giving Stanley the representation that his case has long lacked. Stanley wad from the graduating class of 1997.
